Music planning meeting for picnic

The first planning meeting for the musical arrangements for this year's picnic will take place on Sunday 10th May in/around the Cleveland Pub directly after the official opening of the Blaker's Park Art Display which happens at 12 noon.

If you'd like to be involved in the running of the musical part of the picnic please feel free to turn up and make your mark.

We have arranged twice the stage area we had last year so we can plan for one act to be setting up while another is playing. We will need helpers in setting up stages and turning round acts. There may be opportunities for budding sound engineers to help our team headed by Roy Weard and Cliff Dowding. We will also need people to act as security in the back stage area and possibly to help performers with tuning up etc. A number of other tasks will no doubt be identified at the meeting.

Please come along if you'd like to help this great event which is fast becoming an annual festival that people talk about for the rest of the year!
